A message from our CEO...

I spent years believing that if I tried harder I could be better, different, “normal”. I believed that what I was experiencing was a flaw in character as opposed to an illness.

In 2013, in the hopes of providing a service I wish I knew existed when I was struggling, I began volunteering at a crisis helpline. In 2018, I was asked to share my story of mental illness, recovery and hope at the organization’s annual fundraiser. That’s when I understood the importance of speaking up. I began sharing my story in other contexts. The amazing response I received encouraged me to keep sharing and to keep combating the stigma that had kept me silent for so long. People came to know me for making myself vulnerable and speaking honestly about my mental health.

Validate Mental Health Consultants is the culmination of my recovery, my journey and my passion. It is also a testament to the incredible people I’ve met along the way and the connections I’ve had the privilege of making. Every associate under the Validate umbrella is someone I believe in, who has magnitudes to offer. We aim to use our platform to connect with people on a genuine level, to educate them on mental health, and to build community. Our unique approach focuses less on the clinical and more on the human aspect of mental health, thereby combating stigma and making difficult topics more accessible.
